Official Umrah Visa and Pilgrim Travel Regulations for the Current Umrah SeasonIssued in accordance with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah hereby announces the official timeframes governing the issuance of Umrah visas, entry of pilgrims into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the final departure deadline for the current Umrah season. All licensed Umrah service providers, authorised booking agents, and pilgrims are required to comply with the following regulations strictly.

These measures are implemented to ensure organised travel, smooth operational flow, and the safety, security, and comfort of all pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques.


1. Umrah Visa Issuance Period

The Umrah Visa Issuance Period refers to the timeframe during which Umrah visas may be officially issued for eligible pilgrims under the supervision and approval of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Corresponding to 10 June 2025 (Wednesday)

Visa Issuance End Date
01/10/1447 Hijri
Corresponding to 19 March 2026 (Friday)

No Umrah visas shall be issued before or after the above-mentioned dates. All service providers must ensure that visa applications are submitted and processed strictly within this approved window.


2. Pilgrim Entry Period into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Pilgrim Entry Period defines the authorised timeframe during which Umrah pilgrims are permitted to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the purpose of performing Umrah.

14/12/1446 Hijri
Corresponding to 11 June 2025 (Wednesday)

Last Entry Date of Pilgrims
15/10/1447 Hijri
Corresponding to 2 April 2026 (Friday)

Pilgrims arriving outside of this period shall not be permitted entry for Umrah purposes. Travel arrangements must be planned in full compliance with these official dates.


3. Final Departure Deadline for Pilgrims

The Final Departure Date represents the mandatory deadline by which all Umrah pilgrims must exit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

01/11/1447 Hijri
Corresponding to 18 April 2026 (Sunday)

All pilgrims must ensure their return travel is scheduled on or before this date. Any overstay beyond this deadline may result in legal penalties in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Important Compliance Notice

All Umrah operators, authorised agents, and pilgrims are strictly required to adhere to these official timelines as issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Failure to comply may result in visa suspension, financial penalties, and regulatory action against the service provider and the pilgrim.

Hijri dates are subject to confirmation based on official moon sighting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The provided Gregorian dates are for planning and operational reference purposes.
